Jones Perry Graham's 1915 Okla. CSA Pension Application No. 652 lists him as being in Col. L.M. Martin's 5th Partisan Rangers, but part of Bourland's Regt was turned over Diamond and and part to Martin's Regt. on Feb 10, 1865, when Bourland was PROMOTED -- not demoted as most historians, who have not studied the last year of the War, would have you believe.

Of the 14 that Hugh Keen sent, 7 were not mentioned in the National Archival listing of Bourland's Regt, which surprised me. Of the seven, three are not mentioned in my book. The seven soldiers are NOW identified in the "Additional Soldiers" section of my book and on my web page:

The only one of the fourteen that I have not found thus far in a second record was "John B. Brady" who applied for a pension in Comanche Co OK.

Jones. Woody Jones had a brother, Wm. Star "Star" Jones, who probably also served in Bourland's Regt. Some of this Jones-Washington family lived on Bourland's property and were buried near his house.

Researchers should be aware that "Bourland" is rarely spelled correctly, usually Bolin, Barlin, Bollen, Roland, Bolling, Bowlin, Boland, etc.
