No date, but if he was stating the battle in chronological order he started with Newtonia, then Old Fort Wayne, then Old Ferry (Terry) and last Second Cabin Creek.

Now I have several accounts about the action at priors creek, and Howell's battery appearently was active there in a artillery duel. I also have an account that asserts they fired during the flat rock creek fight, both of those engagments were part of the cabin creek campaign. I also have a report that they were held in reserve on the attack of Fort Smith, but didn't participate. I have wondered if they had taken part in some sort of action at the fords about Fort Gibson.

I know it isn't much to go on, but that is all I have.
