I found information online that Noah Scott was a member of 2nd Cherokee Mtd. Rifles, a pvt. in Co. F, and that he was enlisted at Ft. Davis on Oct. 12, 1862 by Col. Cooper.
Where is Fort Davis. Is it the one in West Texas?? I didn't think Noah was from Texas, Arkansas or the Indian Territory maybe, but not Texas.
