I wonder is "kin council" is a warning of a "Pin" council.

I'm surprised that they would consider Antelope Hills being part of the Wichitas but perhaps they considered that whole region "the Wichitas".

It may be that the trading post was at a mission station -- the word "Shiloh" being of Biblical origin.
