Donna Stapp and I are cousins and have worked together on the Rowe family for over 20 years. I have always heard the area near Rose where Judge David Rowe lived called Rowe's Prairie. Have never heard it called Vann's Prairie. Before statehood Elm Grove Cemetery was called Rowe Cemetery. After statehood it was changed to Elm Grove.
