yes that is the general location. I will have to look at my notes for an exact location. I recall that I drove around looking for the old river channel when I came to 5 or 6 houses at the end of a road the houses were sort of built in the fashion of a town square but there wasn't a road there anymore just dirt. I talked with one man who was working on a car, he was the one who told me to talk to the elderly woman and pointed out her house. The lady is the one who told me it was the location of the blacktown known as Sandtown and told me it was located by the ford.
This was of course back when I was doing the research work for my book.
I hope to have time tomorrow to see if I can locate the notes I made on it back then and varify where exactly it was.
I never went back after that first visit.
