I do know there used to be a camp where Bois D'arc creek emties into Clear Boggy but I do not know the name. My father went to school at Collins Institute near Old Stonewall and used to take me to the gully where he said the troops would fire their rifles. The old Dragoon trail went through there or was very near there, he said. Humphrey Colbert, an attorney, judge and preacher was the son of Winchester Colbert and helped get Collins Institute built after Colbert Institute burned down. Humphrey Colbert did the probate on my gggrandfather's estate (Robert Johnson Kutchubby, a civil war veteran).
