Love's Valley? between bluff and Marietta

Love's Valley. I've heard "Love's Valley" spoken about more than I've seen it in print. ..Love's Valley can be seen if you stand at the edge of the Washington-Howard Cemetery overlooking Red River (on the Cooke-Grayson county (TX) line). ..From this high bluff, you can see Marietta, six miles northwest. ..I understand that Love's Valley is the area between that bluff and Marietta.
.
Love's Valley was named for Overton Sobe Love (b-1823).
.
I, Patti, knew about "Love's Valley" before I knew that I was a direct descendant of Tempeance (Bourland) Griffith (1803-1882), sister of Col. James Bourland. ..I learned that my g-uncle, Jesse Granville GRAHAM m-Nellie GRAY of Love's Valley (Nellie's Washignton ancestors were buried in the Washington-Howard Cemetery on Col. Bourland's property). ..So through the years, every time I heard the term "Love's Valley", my ears perked.
.
In 1995, I attended a "Delaware Bend Reunion" in Whitesboro TX sponsored by Vivian (Martin) Young (b-1911) of Whitesboro TX, who played in Col. James Bourland's large house as a child, then m-John Bourland Young (b-1910), gson of Col. William Cocke Young (1812-1862). Vivian said the neighbors were the "Tiptons of Love's Valley" ... and others.
.
Tiptons of Love's Valley. ... Sarah Frances LaVada "LaVada" (Moore) Arnold Tipton (1870-1964), m-James Murry Tipton [1861-1948 Marietta, Love Co OK]. ... (LaVada was the daughter of Mary (Bourland) Merrick Moore (1830-1875) and gdau of Col James Bourland. ..LaVada is cited in his will contest in my book). I list this because this Tipton family can be found in the U.S. census.
