I had read that the Indian's used both these small "D" note Whistle's as signal's-sounds in the civil war--as alerts,
troop movement,and attack tactic's--has anyone heard of these??
-- Appox. 16" long-abt 1/2" round or less-hole through center -with 6 finger holes on top-
----either side north/south-any known use of them?
