Pleasant Napoleon Blackstone was born 13 December 1841 in Maysville, Beattie Twp., Benton Co., Arkansas. He married Jennie Catherine Lipe and they had 4 daughters. He also had a daughter, Neppie Blackstone, with another woman. He was a prominent businessman and served briefly as Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation in 1896. He died on 21 April 1904 in Muskogee, Creek Nation, I. T. Where did you get the statement "aide to Gen'l Cooper?" Please share any information you might have. It will be most appreciated.
