The message boards are currently going through a major software upgrade. One of the new features in the new software will be the ability to upload images to the message boards for "registered" users. Registered users will need to send a form that includes an email address to the administration of the boards. The registered user will then receive a confirming email with a board-assigned password. You simply click on a link in the email, enter the password and you are registered. You can then change the pre-assigned password to anything you wish. Non-registered users will still be able to post, just as they always have, but registered users will have additional capabilities, such as posting images, including HTML with their postings and "possibly" the use of "Blind Email", which will allow registered users to contact one another by email without revealing the recipients email address. We might start using Avatars for registered posters. I'm still thinking about these last two.
There are a number of new features that will work for the benefit or our little community and will ease the administration and updating of the site.
