The principal speaker for this year's program is Wilson's Creek Battlefield Historian Connie Langum, a long-time friend of the battlefield, its goals, and its programs.
Immediately following the ceremony (which includes re-enactors firing cannon and rifle salutes) the Friends of Honey Springs will host their annual luncheon (free to all attendees) and annual meetings (only members can vote).
