I realize this posting is some time after yours but I may be able to help. The Confederate reports of the skirmish at Greenleaf Prairie are not listed in the official records. I do have a copy of them however. The Colonel of the 29th Texas Cavalry just happened to be the editor of a newspaper in North Texas at the time of the war. He sent a copy of the reports to his paper to be published. The reports (Colonel Charles DeMorse and Major J.A. Carrol) were both printed in the Clarskville, Texas Standard in July 1863.
