My best guess is Col. Simpson N. Folsom's 2nd Choctaw Mtd Rifles, for which few records exist. I believe Hester later became AQM for Cooper's Indian Brigade. There is an item in the CSA Miscellaneous records on Fold3.com dated Aug. 19 1863 at Boggy Depot and signed by G.B. Hester and I believe it says "A Asst QM" (acting assistant quartermater), 1st Indian Brigade.
