From the backside of Lt Col Lemuel Reynolds' recommendation to appoint Granville Wilcox to AQM of the Chickasaw Battalion. The Chickasaw Battalion was increased to a regiment sometime between May 1st and June 16th 1864. Roswell W. Lee was promoted to colonel of the regiment in August 1864.
