Re: csa troops in indian territory

There were several at the first 3 major battles:

Round Mountain--9th Texas Cav., Lt. Col. Wm Quayle (along with other units already listed)

Chusto-Talasah-- Lt. Col. Quayle's 9th, 4th Texas Cav. Col. Wm Sims, Whitfield's Battn. Capt. John Whitfield (along with other units already listed)

Chustenahlah-- Col. James McIntosh's Brigade with: 6th Texas Cav. Lt. Col. John Griffith, 11th Texas Cav. Col. W. C. Young, 2nd Arkansas Mounted Rifles Capt. William Gipson, 3rd Texas Cav. Lt. Col Walter Lane, Bennett's Texas Co. Capt. Bennett. (along with other units already listed)

Since this was a border region there were numerous units from both sides passing through and serving short periods with in the Territory. Also, as Ken also mentioned there were numerous units that were reformed into new/composite units.
