I can't resist asking the following question: Around 1950, at the small town that I grew up in (Rattan, in Choctaw country) was a fine Creek Indian man named Edward Perryman, who was a good friend of my father. Edward was the Superintendent of Rattan High School. He had a son named Joe Perryman. Could there be a connection here to the Perrymans mentioned at Tullahassee?
