Adding to an earlier post by Ken Martin on the new (as of 2010) photo album of Fort McCulloch by Bruce Schulze, webmaster of civilwaralbum.com, at the website:

http://civilwaralbum.com/indian/mcculloch1.htm

I note that the GPS location of Fort McCulloch is not provided. Having visited the fort once with Bruce at a later time, I note that the center of Fort McCulloch, according to Google Earth, is: (Lat. ; Lon.) ==> ( 34 d, 7.890 m, North; 96 d, 23.750 m, West ) .

This location is just west of Nails Crossing (Texas Road / Butterfield Trail) of the Blue River, about two miles southwest of Kenefic, Bryan Co., Oklahoma; or 7980 feet (1.51 miles), South 59 d West (239 d AZ) of the highway intersection of OK 22 @ OK 48, according to Google Earth. OK 48 runs north-south, and OK 22 runs east-west.
