Thanks, Ken, for your very observant analysis. Thirty to forty years ago, I thought
that I knew the Civil War in Indian Territory but I am way outshined by the great
contributors on this forum. I, too, was unsure about what Seabolt's 2nd or 3rd
hand accounts referred to and hoped that others could clear up things. At least,
there may be possible clues for others to pursue?
