Indian Pioneer Interview of Frank Maddox is online. He mentions a ferry site near an iron bridge on the Fort Smith
and Boggy Depot Road in 1895 and that the road was low lying. That worked against the road and bridge in favor of
the ferry. Could this be a replacement for the original bridge installed by Beale?
