Hello,

In the course of your research for the book did you come across anything that metnions the making of the battle flags for the Central Army of Kentucky? These would be later called the Hardee pattern battle flags. We know they were made in Bowling Green from a local sewing circle (I have one of the names of a lady that belonged to it. Mrs. Simon B. Buckner was also part of this group.

We are also seeking when exactly they were made.
