Without spending a ton of money I don't have, is there a way to find outif the following is the correct information on my Great Gradfather William Tucker, born 1838, in Ky.
I was sent the following info, but even though I did say he was a Confederate, there is no mention of it in this letter.
WILLIAM TUCKER CW pension
Invalid
App:911.785
Cert. # 696.485 State filed Mo.
Sept. 15, 1890 Attorney W.A.Fast
F 9th KY CAV

I know there are toooooooo many Tucker's around, espically William's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, is there a group that the women have pertaining to being granddaughters of CW veterans? I had Greats that fought each other in the War. Of course, I have only what my parents, aunts, and uncles told me about William. I do have records of two of my greats that fought on the Union side.

Thanks to all
