Jim... Another favorite state of mine, Kentucky. My wife's great-grandfather, Joseph "Jo" Norvell, served as a private in Company A, 2nd Kentucky Cavalry (Colonel John Hunt Morgan's company), became a scout under Captain Thomas Quirk, and transferred to the 9th Kentucky Cavalry after several exciting escapes from capture.

Does anyone out there have any information on the Norvell listed above.
