Looking for anything on this unit that my GG uncle rode with from Ballard County,Ky. near Arlington,Ky. I know Co.M was originally in Co.F of 22nd Tennessee as part of Ky.Braves and fought as infantry unit before they became Co.M 3rd Ky. Infantry and then were mounted by Forrest! 3rd,7th and 8th Kentucky Mounted infantries fought at Paducah,Harrisburg,Ms.,Tupelo,Brices Crossroads and last campaign in Selma,Al.
