15 Kentucky Infantry (US)

My great grand father was Christopher Billing(s) a German speaking private in the 15 Kentucky Infantry Company E he joined in 14 Dec 1861 (it is not clear if his joining point was New Haven, KY or Louisville, Ky from the records. He served until 14 Jan 1865 where he was discharged at Jefferson ville. IN with "Dumb Ague" ( Maleria contracted at the seige of Atlanta). As at some of you are aware the 15 KY was attached to the army of Ohio after its officers were killed and to several different units of the Ohio Army. My Christopher was from Germany and took his citenship in Dayton, Ohio based on his Civil War record. He spent his final years in the "Old Soldiers Home" in Dayton and is burried in the National Cemetary there. So much for background. I have a photo of his wife but I do not have one of him or of the company of soldiers he was with. Can any one help? Is there any photos (regimental perhaps?)of the Kentucky 15th? Additional info on the battles they were involved in?
