I am looking for info on a CSA soldier from Kentucky named Joseph Akin (Aikin). He may have been a surgeon. I have no idea what unit he may have been in...but have an old CDV of him in his CSA uniform. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

Also, I have a photo in that same album of a CSA soldier named Peter Daniel (Daniell). No other info is mentioned. Thanks for any help.
