Re: Casualties of 3rd Ky. Mounted inf. CSA Paducah

According To the Confederate Veteran many of the men in Forrests 3rd Ky.Mounted Infantry CSA were surrendered and paroled at Meridian,Ms. Perhaps some of Cobbs men were there also! Did your ancestor serve aboard the ironclad CSS Arkansas at Vicksburg,Ms. along with the 28th Louisiana Inf. Regiment CSA? I know Cobbs men at Johnsonville,Tn. opened fire on Yankee gunboats and ships and had their own Navy after capturing some of the craft according to stories in the Confederate Veteran! Speaking of that does anyone know a website where I can look at Medals given at UCV(United Confederate Veterans) Conventions?
