In the next couple of weeks I am going on vacation and planning a trip from home in Nashville to Frankfort Ky to visit the Kentucky State Archives and the Military History Museum. I am familiar with the Tennessee State Archives and their microfilmed records of TN Civil War soldiers. Does anyone know if Ky records are similar and will most of the records at the State Archives be the same as at the military history museum? I plan on concentrating on the members of Cobb's Battery to see if I can find out more than what it is in published and online sources.
