Thanks Steve, Do you have any info on his time at Johnson Island? Also I have him as a lawyer in Marksville, La both before and after the war and wonder how he wound up in a Kentucky unit. I am not sure where his parents were from. He later founded the Confederate Veterans Chapter in Los Angeles and was its first president.
