I found an article in an 1861 Yankee newspaper that told about the Camp Brown Register, a newspaper published at Columbus, Kentucky, for the Confederate troops at Union City, Tennessee. Camp Brown was the Confederate Camp at Union City. The Columbus Crescent had recently suspended publication, so the printing press of the Crescent must have been used for the Register. If anyone has knowledge of this newspaper please respond.
