I am doing research and writing a book on the battle of Stone's River. Because there was no official battle report submitted for Battery "A"/Stone's battery, it is difficult to give credit to its achievements. I would like to know the type of guns and number of each type that the battery used in the battle. Any other information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, would be appreciated. Please cite sources.
