Harold, I live in Owensboro, Ky and this mornings paper reported that a grave stone had been found near Whitesville that was inscribed: C.M. RAgsdale ... 17th KY Inft. It had the emblem of an acorn etched into it. Is it possible that this was a member of the unit that you were asking about? If so, I could do a bit of research for you.
