They ~say~ that the war was started over slavery. Many assume that that is a fact. But either way, it was about Money. I'd be interested in knowing what the Kentucky Black Laws were... ...and of course the Yanks were so intimidated by the all powerful South they had to ship the Blacks to Canada for their own safety.
Some of my kinfolk were in Kentucky Territory, that is Virginia before it became Kentucky! I never posed a question. I simply stated an opinion. My question pertained to a different thread. I wished to know the particulars of James Little being mortally wounded when he came to Kentucky with Quantrill, Quantrill being mortally wounded within the week. ~Don
