Re: 15th. Ky. Volunteer Inf. Co. A - Photo

I'd like to echo Steve's message -- if there is a photo of Company A of the Fifteenth Kentucky out there, I'd love to see it. In the course of 14 years of researching this unit, I've never seen a group photo taken during the war. Of course, that doesn't mean they don't exist. I think there's every reason to believe that there are all kinds of treasures relating to this important Union unit, in private hands throughout Jefferson, Shelby, Spencer, Hardin and LaRue Counties.

As Jim pointed out, we are in the process of putting together a website devoted to the Fifteenth Kentucky, located at http://www.fifteenthkentucky.com. We're adding photos of soldier gravestones as fast as we can (about 100 so far), plus there are some photos of the men that surfaced too late to be included in the book, plus a few dozen original sources too long to be in the book verbatim (with a few hundred more to come). If anyone has any questions about the Fifteenth, either post here or e-mail me directly at the address above (or both), and I'll be glad to answer.
