I would like to find out information on the 5 th.
Kentucky Reg. and the company of Capt. Gibbs.During
my visit to Emory & Henry Library I came across a list of Confederate dead buried in the Holston Conference Cemetery
at the college.There is listed a Giles Jones buried there
and it gives his militery unit as the 5 th. Kentucky Reg.
in the Company of Capt. Gibbs.Does anyone have more information on this unit?
