Looking for information and primary recources (diaries, letters, memoirs, remensceses, etc) concerning the 6th Kentucky Cavalry and 4th Kentucky Mounted Infantry, USV, of the 1st Brigade, 1st Division, Cavalry Corps, Military Dept. of the Mississippi (Croxton's Brigade) during April 1865 in west Alabama. Any information about Company D of the 6th Kentucky Cav, USV, would be most desired.
