1862 vs. 1863

The units of the Kentucky "Orphan" Brigade listed on the NPS site (2nd, 4th, 6th, 9th Ky. Inf. and the battery that was consolidated from the remains of Graves' and Byrne's Batteries after Shiloh, later commanded by Cobb) were actually at Vicksburg in the summer of 1862 (except the 2nd Ky. Inf. - they were still in prison following Ft. Donelson). The listed units were active in the defense of Jackson, MS, in July 1863, but they weren't really defending Vicksburg then, because they had arrived too late in the area.
