I am researching the Fourteenth Army Corps, Department of the Cumberland. I have not been able to trace the subsequent history of Colonel (Brigadier-General) William E. Woodruff, 2nd Kentucky Infantry, upon his "departure" from Rosecrans' army after the battle of Stone River. Would appreciate any information or direction to sources that may be of help. I am already familiar with the scarce information that exists on him prior to Stone River. I am also looking for a photo of Woodruff.
