I concur. Burbridge's Regt of Federal Troops, the 26th Vol. Inf. was armed with Colt Revolving Rifles in the fall of 1861. The used them with significant effect at Whippoorwill Bridge and at the Battle of Woodbury.

To my knowledge no other unit in KY, at the time, was armed with the Colt Rifles.
