My grandfather, James Harrison Hancock, was in the 4th Infantry, Co C, 4th regiment. He was a recipient of the Cross of Honor given by the UDC in Sept., 1913. He enlisted in 1861 and stayed to the end in 1865. I do have info on some of their batttles and I believe I still have a list of the men in the 4th infantry.
