Major-General Thomas L. Crittenden

Other than the material contained within the Official Records (which is appreciable) and a few post war references to his Regualr Army service in Arizona and, then, the Dakota territories, there is little available biographical information of a strictly personal nature concerning Thomas L. Crittenden, the man. Does anyone know if the general left any personal papers or memoirs of his life, or if there is anyone out there who is planning and investigating an attempt at an in-depth biography?

Thomas died in New York on October 23, 1893, and buried in the City Cemetery, Frankfort, Kentucky. Does anyone know what portion of the Crittenden family would have been most likely to have archived any of the personal papers he left?
