Hey Len. The 9th kentcuky was not in the state at the time of the battle of Perryville. The Co. A that I am refering to was a part of the eastern ky 5th kentucky. A lot of that unit was recruited when the Confederates entered Kentucky in August of 1862. My question remains did the COmpany A fight with another unit at Perryville? The rest of the 5th Kentucky under Hawkins was not at Perryville.
