And North Georgia, in the mountains. There were unionists, confederates, and, like the Gunny said, those who just wanted to be left alone. Unfortunately, these latter folk seemed to suffer the most, becasue they caught it from both sides. I wouldn't call them fence sitters, but it seems almost universally true that if you don't take a position you end up in the cross fire. Stan
