The Samuel W. Wood I am looking for was 29 on the 1850 Barren County KY census in the household of his father-in-law Joshua Huckaby. I am finding a Samuel Wood in Co. H 11th KY Inf (CSA) on Ancestry.com. I am wondering if this is my Samuel.
Does anyone have any more detailed info (age,county of enlist,etc) that might help?
