If youre Interested there is a civil war war reenactment in london ky. called the battle of wildcat mountain, been there participated in the reenactment. goto www.wildcatreenactment.com if you go it is a beautiful place there several hiking trails leading up the mountain showing the way the confederate army took on the way to battle the 33rd indiana. also next to wildcat mountain the other mountain has been named Hoosier Knob, in honor of the 33rd indiana who held off the conferdate army you can still see the trenches the 33rd indiana built on top of the mountain, you can also see the cannon reedoubt they built aiming right down the road the confederate would come up. I cannot stress it enough it is an absolutely awesome place for a history nut like myself. The reenactment is held there in october, and defintily worth seein. now if you decide to hike it bring some good shoes it is a pretty good climb. hope this helps you linda....
