39th Kentucky Infantry

I have been trying to find the grave of my great-grandfather Thomas Hamilton Adams. In the publication "THE BOOK" which is a family history of the Jones, Gillock, Justice, Adams and allied familys writen by Dayton Gillock Justice it is stated that Thomas was buried 12 miles NE of Oklahoma City near Edmond. I went there and the only Thomas Adams grave I could find was in Jones Cemetary and it was a military stone for Company A 39th Kentucky Infantry but there were no dates on the head stone.
The roster for Company A lists a Thomas Adams but has no other info.Is ther anyone that has enlistment records that will tell where he came from and birth dates. My relative lived in Johnson Co. Kentucky and his daughter married Riborn Justice and the two families later moved to Ohio then Texas And Oklahoma where Thomas Died in 1906. He was born in North Carolina 18 Nov 1822 and his wifes name was Sarah Emily Moore.
