Albert Sidney Johnston was originally buries in Louisiana (new orleans?) but was moved to the State Cemetary in Austin. He has been of interest to me for some time as it has been passed down through generations of my family that we are related in some capacity. No one can provide proof so I've set out to try and confirm/deny such claims which brings me here. No to ask a blanket question here but any ancestry help would be appreciated. A link to the cemetary should be below. I've been there numerous times and it is a very nice tribute. He is an unsung hero of Texas.
