Would you mind if I use your information and your citation of Case No. 1500, Johnson Circuit Court, 1868-69 in a book a friend and I are very near finishing? My reason is you mentioned John Fiklin of Bath County, who was a drill instructor for the 5th KY CSA in Prestonsburg during the autumn of '61. Fiklin kept company with a character named Menefee, who I'm even more interested in but at times have difficulty putting a finger on.
