Re: Lt. Col. Clarence Prentice, CSA

I would be very interested in your research involving the 7th Battalion. My GGGF, Henry Sparks, appears to have spent some time in Company G under the command of the infamous Captain Cook. He is documented by available sources as having participated in a raid on Paintsville, KY in July, 1864(Weaver/Prichard, 1997). This is about the extent of his activity with the 7th of which I am aware. If you have other sources, I would be very interested in hearing about them. I haven't been able to access your e-mail address. Can you post a response here or do you have another suggestion of how we might contact each other? Thanks.

Mike
