This sterling Silver demitasse spoon has been in my mother's possesion and now in mine for over 70+ years. It has a date on the spoon of 1868. My father was born in 1882, his father could conceivably have fought in the war...what do you think? Anyone know about such spoons produced after the war....any suggestions for further research?
